Autistic children show symptoms of communication problems, rigid behavior, and have difficulty socializing. A lot of times these children have difficulty in school and are often left behind by the other students. This is because most schools in India are not inclusive in nature or have a special infrastructure for them, neither there is a separate system for such students in a normal school. Being left behind in schools and class because of their inability to process information, often shatters their self-confidence.
Autism and Speech Therapy Centre in Mangalore provides a rehabilitation program that helps these specially-abled children who suffer from Autism. These are not only autistic children but some of them are also battling with down-syndrome, and we at Remi Sai Foundation have collaborated with the Autism and Speech Therapy Centre that runs a 1-year rehabilitation course to help autistic children below the age of 10. The centre helps these children understand the basic life skills that form the very foundation of a child’s growth.
Children here undergo physiotherapy, occupational therapy & speech therapy, and parents are met on a weekly basis to educate them about the progress of their children, and your sponsorship will help provide access to this rehabilitation centre to the needy.
